Trail Highlights by Section
Each section of the trail has a different character. Here’s what to expect.
Downtown St. Pete
Miles 0–5Starts near Tropicana Field heading west. Passes through the Warehouse Arts District with galleries and 3 Daughters Brewing. Urban feel with street crossings.
Seminole – Largo
Miles 13–19The safest stretch — 5 overpasses (Ulmerton, West Bay, Park Blvd, Seminole Blvd, 113th St). Flat, wide, and uninterrupted. Best for families.
Clearwater – Belleair
Miles 20–24Trail passes through Belleair with Cafe Alfresco and Daily News Restaurant overlooking the path. Connects to Ream Wilson Trail toward the beach.
Dunedin
Miles 25–28The trail town. Downtown Dunedin is built around the trail — 8+ breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream all within steps. Honeymoon Island causeway nearby.
Palm Harbor
Miles 29–33Wall Springs Park with nature trails and an observation tower. Reel BBQ and Charlotte Bean Coffee right on the trail. More suburban and peaceful.
Tarpon Springs
Miles 34–37Northern end near the historic Sponge Docks. Tarpon Tavern, Da Spot, and Brighter Days Brewing. Greek restaurants nearby. Trail ends at US 19 underpass.
